The event of Miri going back in time is important because she meets Molly. If she did not go back in time she would not have met Molly and then she would not need to rescue anyone and then she would not have to go back again. If all that did NOT happen this would not be much of a story and in result would be boring and no one would read it and then the book would not sell and that would be bad for the author.
This book was created by Annie Barrows. This book was written in third person. I think the problem was that they would not be able to get past Horst Molly's evil cousin.
The author is not trying to make an arguement the book is simply for pleasure.
I personally do not have or know of any connections to this book.
If Molly and Miri had not convinced Sissi ,Molly's cousin, not to move the eye glass then Sissi would have moved the eye glass and then it would not be there in the future so Miri would have never seen it and so she would never have gone back and met Molly.

HEIDI By Johanna Spyri
In the book there are three main things that happen. First Heidi starts to live with Grandfather/Uncle in Dorfli. (This is were she meets Barbel, Peter, Grandmother, and Brigitta). Second she is taken away from that home and is sent to live with a family in Frankfurt. (This is were she meets Clara Sesemann, Mr. Sesemann, Miss Rottenmeier, Sebastian, Tinette, Grandmamma, and The Doctor). And third Heidi, her Grandfather, and Peter help Clara learn to walk. At the end of the book Grandfather is nolonger mean, Clara can walk, and Peter learns from his mistakes. I chose to read this book because it looked fun and interesting to read.
This book was created by Johanna Spyri. This book is writen in third person. One problem is that she is taken to a different home and so the problem is that she is home sick. In the end she gets back home.
The author isnt trying to make an argument.
I dont really have any conection to this book. Also the story isnt real so the events in this book dont make a difference in history.
This piece could have changed completly if Clara was not in a wheel chair because then she would always be able to walk an Heidi and friends would not have to teach her how.

THE CAT WHO WENT TO HEAVEN By Elizabeth Coatsworth
Significance
I chose to read this piece because it is a story about a cat. I love cats and the cat went to heaven which is a good place. The work of the man in the book is important because he painting a religious piece. He is also very poor and needs the money. It is also important because the cat was not blessed by Buddha but the artist put the cat in the painting anyway. The painting was not right so was rejected and was to be burned. The morning of the day it was to be burned the cat that was originally in the back of the line appeared right by Buddha and was welcomed with Buddhas once closed but now open arms.
Perspective
This book was written by Elizabeth Coatsworth. The book was written in third person. I happen to have a cat and because of this the story is very sad considering the cat dies. It is also happy because the cat is excepted by Buddha.
Evidence
My guess is the author is trying to show that even those who did not except ones ways the first time does not mean they shouldn't get a second chance.
Connection
My grandfather (Grandpa Moon Woo) paints and puts animals in lots of his paintings and the man in the book was painting a painting with lots of animals in it.
Supposition
This piece could have changed significantly if instead of a cat they got a dog. The story would change because there would be no problem whether or not it was on the painting because it was put on the painting anyway.

Frindle By: Andrew Clements
In the story the event of Frindle becoming a word is important because a fifth grade boy decides he wants to make a word so he convinces everyone he knows to use the word Frindle instead of using the word pen. In the story this Frindle rant goes on and on until the word actually gets put in the dictionary. I chose this piece because I thought it would be interesting to read.
The author of this story is Andrew Clements. Well the story is written in third person so a different perspective of the story would be to write in in first person.
My guess is that the author is trying to show an example of change or something new and he does this by making someone make something new. And i guess that he is just telling or writing the story to entertain people. so this story does not have an argument at all.
The event of the boy in the story having everybody call a pen a Frindle leads to all of America using the word Frindle instead of the word pen and that leads to other countries using the word Frindle and that leads to the word Frindle going into the dictionary.
I guess the whole piece would change if instead of language arts being the main teacher have it be math and then I guess the main character would make up some crazy math equation right? So if the author decided to have it that way the story would be completely different wouldn't it.
